"La idea que tenemos de uno mismo no es la de un organismo de células vivas, sino algo más. Somos una construcción mental (o psicológica) de conceptos abstractos que da resultado en lo que llamamos Yo o Ego. Un Ego que se observa, se refleja y se materializa en la mirada del otro. Una mirada externa que nos hace de espejo y resulta imprescindible para evolucionar en la vida, pero que en desequilibrio con nuestra propia escucha interna da como resultado una evolución descompensada, deformada y frágil. El mirar hacia dentro nos deja en un vacío de escucha, sin distracción y en armonía. Es en el justo equilibrio de atención hacia aquello que llega de fuera y nos indica aquello que existe en nosotros; y la escucha de uno mismo sin distracciones externas, donde se asegura un conocimiento completo de nosotros como Ser en su totalidad".
"The idea we have of ourselves is not that of a living cell organism, but something else. We are a mental (or psychological) construction of abstract concepts that results in what we call I, or Ego. An Ego that is observed, is reflected and materialized in the gaze of the other. An external look that makes us a mirror and is essential to evolve in life, but that in imbalance with our own internal listening results in an unbalanced, distorted and fragile evolution. Looking inside leaves us in a vacuum of listening, without distraction and in harmony. It is in the right balance of attention towards what comes from outside and indicates what exists in us; and listening to oneself without external distractions, where a complete knowledge of us as a Whole Being is ensured".

"Out of the blue, una creación de Strange Strangers, gira en torno a la realidad de los sueños. Danielle y Alexandra exploran su realidad utilizando la ansiedad que uno puede sentir dentro de un sueño como punto de partida para su creación. Durante la pieza, transmiten la incertidumbre y la dificultad que tienen para enfrentarse a lo desconocido. Esto se logra a través del sueño REM (rapid eye movement) y cómo esta etapa afecta a su experiencia. Al hacerlo, el público se une a ellas en su viaje de intensidad y reposo, dejando que cada uno sea llevado por su inconsciente. Al transmitir esta experiencia, Danielle y Alexandra ponen el foco sobre cómo nos enfrentamos a la realidad".
"Out of the blue, a creation by Strange Strangers, revolves around the reality of dreams. Danielle and Alexandra explore their reality by using the anxiety one can feel within a dream as an entry point for their creation. During the piece, they transmit the uncertainty and difficulty they have in facing the unknown. This is achieved by researching the REM sleep (Rapid Eye Movement) and how this stage affects their experience. By doing so, the audience joins them in their journey of intensity and rest, letting everyone be taken by their unconsciousness. Through conveying this experience, Danielle and Alexandra bring awareness on how we deal with confronting reality".

"Dos personas prestando y atendiendo a lo que les asemeja, buscando algo, algo que ya tienen pero no por ello pierden el gusto de buscarlo, transitando y alimentando la emoción que nace de su nexo desde lo simple hacia lo simplemente complejo... buscar hasta perder el norte, y ahí, volver a encontrar: el viaje entre personas (Hito)".
"Two people payin attention to what resembles them, looking for something; something they already have but not for that reason losing the pleasure of looking for it, living and feeding the emotion that is born from their nexus from the simple to the simply complex ... search until they lose the north, and there, find again: the journey between people (Hito)".

"Este trabajo se inspira en la simbología arquetípica de diferentes mitos. Enfocándose particularmente en aquellos que transmiten un mensaje sobre el ciclo de la vida y la muerte como el Órfico Fanes que según relata, nació del Huevo cósmico como una deidad hermafrodita que dio luz al universo. Ode to Phanes se apoya en esta narrativa para crear una atmósfera metafórica que habla de dinámicas universales como la dualidad, unidad y comunión. De esta manera, la obra ofrece una experiencia corpórea de una memoria inmensamente sanadora pero olvidada desde hace mucho y que todos los humanos conservan a nivel inconsciente; sentirse completo e indivisible, totalmente dotado y en paz dentro del vientre materno".
"This piece is inspired by the archetypal symbology from diverse ancient myths. It especially focuses on those that deliver a message about the cycle of life and death such as the Orphic Phanes, who hatched from the cosmic-egg as a hermaphrodite deity giving birth to the universe. Ode To Phanes draws from this narrative to create a metaphorical atmosphere that speaks about universal dynamics like duality, oneness, and communion. Offering a corporeal experience of one of the most healing, but long lost memories that all humans retain at an unconscious level which is being fully endowed, fully gifted, and undivided while resting peacefully in the motherly womb".
