El internacional español Roberto Soldado se reencontró hoy con el gol para contribuir a un importante triunfo del Tottenham en Villa Park, por 0-2, lo que le permite igualar en la tabla con el cuarto, el Manchester City, y situarse a tres puntos del líder Arsenal.
Soldado propició el primer tanto del encuentro, obra de Andros Townsend (m.31) y, a pase del brasileño Paulinho, consiguió el segundo (m.69) con el que el cuadro londinense acabó con las opciones del Aston Villa, en el que fue titular el también español Antonio Luna.
