Recientemente, en el parque de La Vega se celebró el XX Trofeo Ciudad de La Laguna y XXIV Trofeo de Navidad de BMX. Los ganadores fueron Gabriel Carrena -categorías rocker e infantil-, David Ferrera - cruiser-, Jorge Ovejero -cadete-, Garoé Hernández -alevín-, Daniel Fernández -principiante-, Hugo Cano -promesa- y Guillermo Alonso -preiniciación-.
